Fire Ravages 2 Buildings in Kalideres

Fire razed a food stall and a rented house located on Jalan Jambu Air, RT 07/02, Pegadungan Urban Village, Kalideres, West Jakarta, Wednesday (2/4). Allegedly, it is triggered by leaking gas stove's hose.
We had difficulties to put out the flames due to many chemicals at the fire location
The flames came out at around 10.30 AM from a kitchen inside the stall owned by Suryani (44) and then quickly burned the whole building and rented house.
Two Rented Houses on Jalan Kampung Baru Burnt"Locals had tried to put out the flames, but they failed. Fire also burned the rented house next to the stall," told Yudi, a witness.
Luckily, the situation could be controlled around 11.30 AM after 18 fire trucks deployed to the scene. "We had difficulties to put out the flames due to many chemicals at the fire location," uttered Head of West Jakarta Fire and Disaster Handling Sub-Department, Pardjoko.
